Team Poundie is a dedicated dog rescue and welfare charity based in Telford, West Midlands, with support from trustees across the UK. Founded in 2018 by a group of passionate animal lovers, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need. We started by helping dogs in Pounds—hence the name “Team Poundie”—and have since expanded to provide direct support to owners and rescue organizations, preventing dogs from ending up in shelters wherever possible.

Today, we offer nationwide support, covering emergency rescues, medical care, neutering, and rehoming. When a dog has nowhere else to go, we provide foster placements, rescue partnerships, and emergency kennels to ensure their safety. Our charity shop and fundraising efforts help cover essential costs, from vet bills to transport, ensuring every dog gets the second chance they deserve.
